One week after Ohio’s primary, Ohio State’s chapter of Turning Point USA hosted two former Republican presidential candidates in the Ohio Union, who addressed the “American Dream” and upcoming election.

Ben Carson, former secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development and short-lived 2016 GOP presidential candidate, spoke to the Auburn community Nov. 9 in Lowder Hall.

On Thursday, students lined up outside the Carolina Union to hear a speech by Ben Carson — a former neurosurgeon who ran for president on the Republican ticket in 2016 and served as the Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development from 2017 to 2021.
