Meeting with Political Appointees

The best way to communicate messages from the White House to the political appointees is for the White House to hold regular meetings with the entire political appointee team. These meetings also serve to keep the appointees aware of all the work being done in other agencies, which they might not follow as closely.

One of the most important aspects of regular meetings with agency political appointees is the camaraderie it instills with the appointees. They will be able to interact with, and get answers from, people they don’t see daily. This helps instill teamwork among the political staff and more strongly unifies them in their mission to serve the president.
